Teacher Training Workshop on Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses
This workshop aimed to equip teachers with knowledge of child protection laws (POCSO Act), early identification of abuse indicators, appropriate response mechanisms, and safe reporting procedures. 100-Student Residential & Therapy Centre
(Let’s Talk Child Development Centre – Pune)
1️⃣ Project Overview
Focus: Residential Rehabilitation for Special Children (Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability).
Location: Ravet Region, Pune.
Target: 100 Students from rural & low-income families.
2️⃣ Problem Statement
- Lack of structured residential facilities.
- Inadequate infrastructure for quality services.
- Financial & emotional burden on parents.
4️⃣ Execution Phases (16-Month Roadmap)
Securing land via donation/lease and completing legal documentation.
Construction of residential blocks, therapy rooms, and accessibility compliance.
Installing Speech/OT equipment and sensory integration rooms.
Recruiting therapists, special educators, and 24/7 caregiving staff.
Admitting the first 40 children and beginning CSR reporting.
6️⃣ Annual Expected Impact
- 100 children receiving continuous therapy.
